As the article states, Apple takes a 30% cut from its own app store. So that itself is really not a surprise. Aligning with PayPal makes sense, ease of use and secure.
What I am interested in however concerns the possibilities of linking Facebook Credits with Facebook Connect. That would launch an virtual economy based on the Facebook mass, and allow Facebook to basically create a branded online currency.
We'll see, but I am sure they are getting ready.
